This workshop is run jointly with Jenny Parkes, a practising artist and art teacher for 24 years. Jenny has a keen interest in individual creativity, is fascinated by finding creative inspiration in the landscape and enjoys working with inner creative energy and “the management”. Jenny’s work finds inspiration from both the visible and invisible aspects of nature.
It was learning about energy field therapy and courses with both Hamish Miller and Tim Walter that aroused an interest in earth energy and spirituality and how this is all one. During this weekend we will explore our intuitive relationship with the earth and the impressions we can gain from the flowing invisible energies of nature: that is the land, trees and plants.
This enjoyable two days will be hosted by Tim and Jenny in Arkengarthdale in The Yorkshire Dales. This area today is fairly remote with an abundance of wildlife and plants but was once a centre for lead mining. The scars of industrial heritage still remain in the hills and valleys, some of which attendees may find affect their experience of the workshop and can be used to great effect in bringing forth a healing as well as a creative process.
The aim of this workshop is to facilitate creativity through a deeper spiritual connection both with ourselves and the planet. We are looking to assist all those with any creative feelings who want to discover how nature can inspire the artist and how nature is willing to work with each of us on many levels when we sit in contemplation. This applies to complete beginners as much as it does to accomplished artists. We welcome enquiries from people at all levels of artistic ability.
